The Gauge Root Valve Female x Female 1/4” NPT is a small but essential valve used to protect and control pressure instruments, like gauges and transmitters, in fluid or gas systems. Its female x female connection allows it to connect directly to two male-threaded fittings, making installation simple and reducing the risk of leaks.

HDI 2000P Pressure Gauge System

The HDI 2000P Pressure Gauge System is a solid-state electronic gauge designed to provide accurate and reliable pressure measurement in demanding industrial and oilfield environments. It is suitable for monitoring pressures up to 20,000 psi and is built to operate safely in hazardous locations.

The system includes a gauge display, inline cable, and a matched pressure sensor. The gauge features a 6-inch diameter LCD with a numeric display and a 101-segment analog bar graph for trend indication. The display is visible from up to 35 feet and is designed for use in varying lighting conditions.

Powered by a field-replaceable 3.6 V battery pack, the system supports continuous operation with minimal power consumption. Battery life is typically around 18 months, with a one-year guarantee. Calibration data is retained when powered off.

The pressure sensor uses a 3.5K strain gauge and is available in multiple pressure ranges. Sensors can be interchanged within specified ranges to reduce spare parts inventory. Connection types include 1” NPT, 2” line thread, ANSI or API flanges, 9/16” Autoclave, and 2” WECO.

Optional outputs include 4-20 mA and 0-1 Vdc signals for integration with chart recorders, PLCs, and remote displays. A remote display (slave gauge) option allows duplication of the pressure reading at another location.

The gauge and sensor are factory calibrated as a matched pair to ±0.50% full-scale accuracy. Calibration and configuration settings are stored in non-volatile memory and can be updated or reset by the user.

The AV annulus safety valve is a fully retrievable high performance annulus safety system packer with integral annulus safety valve. The system provides annular bypass through a hydraulically operated poppet valve. The AV system is run in a single trip in conjunction with a setting sub that can be shifted for hydraulic tubing-set or can be alternatively control-line set from surface. Applications The AV system is used for controlling annulus fluids in gas lift applications, monitoring of annulus pressures in critical situations, and in one- or two-trip annulus safety system completions. The completion can be run to depth and set with the surface tubing hanger flanged up. It can also be used in completions in which spacing out against a subsurface tubing hanger is required (i.e., no elastomeric expansion joint necessary). The tailpipe can be left in either tension or compression. The system can be used where high tensile loads and pressure differentials exist with the completion anchored in unsupported or poor condition casing. Ballycatter Mech-2 Double Grip Mechanical Packer

The Ballycatter Mech-2 is a retrievable, compression-set double-grip mechanical packer designed for applications where pressure differentials from below are anticipated, such as combined stimulation and production operations. Featuring opposing slips above and below the packing element, the Mech-2 ensures secure bi-directional anchoring within the casing under varying well conditions.

The tool incorporates a built-in hydraulic hold-down system located beneath the face-seal bypass valve, enabling it to resist upward forces during stimulation treatments. A unique “Differential Lock” mechanism utilizes pressure from below the packer to actuate a balance sleeve, generating additional downward force that maintains bypass valve integrity and ensures a reliable seal.

The Mech-2 is mechanically set using a long-stroke mandrel and a J-slot mechanism. Once positioned, right-hand rotation and applied set-down weight close the bypass valve, engage both slip sets, and compress the sealing elements. The formation below the packer is then fully isolated and accessible only through the tubing. To retrieve, the tubing is raised the full packer length, automatically re-engaging the J-slot and reopening the bypass for pressure equalization and circulation.

With its dual-grip design, hydraulic hold-down, and controlled setting and release process, the Mech-2 offers a robust and dependable solution for demanding applications requiring secure annular isolation and enhanced downhole stability.
