WI Valve for injection wells (3.39 inch)

The WI retrievable injection valve is a high-performance, high-flow rate injection valve. High throughput is achieved by a unique valve configuration that minimizes turbulent and potentially erosive flow. Operation is not dependent on a specific flow rate, pressure, or setting depth, thus negating the need for adjustment over time. The valve incorporates a metal-to-metal valve and seat energized by the combination of an integral spring and well pressure acting from below. The WI injection valve can be deployed on a wireline lock or through-tubing pack-off device, providing flexibility not available with alternative injection valve systems. As a result of the simple design with fewer parts, redress and repair costs are considerably lower than those for other injection valve systems. Applications The WI injection valve is primarily used in water injection applications as an alternative to conventional tubing or wireline-set safety valves. The valve is also commonly used as a retrofit solution in water injectors in which a tubing to annulus leak has occurred. The valve can be deployed below the leak point to eliminate uncontrolled annulus pressure increases when the injection stops. Features » Compatible with all known lock systems » Dedicated designs to suit Halliburton EB0 intervention packers » Enhanced internal flow profile » Simple design and construction » Flow-loop testing performed to establish pressure drop versus pump rate *information referenced from supplier catalog. 2” Tubing End Locator

The 2” Tubing End Locator is a mechanical downhole tool used to determine the physical end of production tubing during well intervention or maintenance activities. It is a critical component in operations where it is necessary to confirm tubing length or avoid tool deployment beyond the tubing’s bottom, such as during setting packers, logging, or fishing operations.

In a typical well setup, production tubing does not always terminate at a predictable or recorded depth. The tubing end locator provides a reliable way to identify the true end of the tubing string by using a spring-loaded finger mechanism that reacts upon reaching the tubing’s bottom. This reaction is detectable at the surface, providing the operator with a clear and immediate indication without relying solely on depth readings or assumptions.

This specific model is intended for tubing sizes ranging from 2" to 2-1/2" outer diameter. It is designed with a maximum tool O.D. of 1.750", which ensures clearance inside the tubing, and includes a 1.375" fishing neck, a standardized feature that allows the tool to be retrieved if necessary using conventional pulling tools.

Threading is provided on both ends for integration into tool strings: a 15/16 - 10 UN pin connection on top and a 1 - 11.1/2 NPT box connection at the bottom. This allows the locator to be run inline with other mechanical or wireline-conveyed tools. These standard thread forms ensure compatibility with widely used downhole equipment and deployment systems.

Constructed from high-strength alloy steel, the tool is designed to withstand the mechanical stress, temperature variations, and chemical exposure typical in oil and gas well environments. While not a pressure-control device, its materials and design are selected to perform reliably under downhole pressure conditions encountered during standard intervention work.

The 2” Tubing End Locator provides a mechanical means of depth verification that does not rely on electronics, sensors, or depth counters. It is a simple, durable, and effective tool for reducing uncertainty and improving operational safety in the wellbore.

CBL-VDL

Elevating Well Integrity Analysis with InWaTec Combined's CBL-VDL Services Ensuring a solid cement bond between casing and the wellbore is not just a procedural step; it's a critical factor in well integrity that demands the most meticulous evaluation techniques. InWaTec Combined’s Cement Bond Logging (CBL) and Variable Density Logging (VDL) Services offer a refined approach to acoustic well logging, a method that has been a research focal point due to its importance in ascertaining well safety and functionality. Cement bonding evaluation can be segmented into two categories based on tool source frequency: the sonic method (around 20 kHz) and the ultrasonic method (several hundred thousand Hz). The sonic method, a technique that has stood the test of time since its introduction in 1963, provides a qualitative or semi-quantitative analysis of the cement bond. It involves the excitation of a sonic wave and measurement of its attenuation along the borehole axis, with the degree of attenuation reflecting the quality of shear coupling behind the casing. Simply put, the greater the attenuation, the better the bond. CBL specifically focuses on the attenuation factor derived from the first arrival amplitude, offering a snapshot of the bond's integrity. In contrast, VDL takes into account the full waveform amplitude, providing a more detailed and denser representation of the bond quality. These dual measurements, with industry-standard receiver spacings of 3-ft for the casing wave and 5-ft for the full wave, allow for a comprehensive analysis of the cement bond. InWaTec Combined's CBL-VDL Services employ these methodologies with precision-engineered tools that capture high-resolution data, enabling our experts to discern even subtle variations in bonding conditions. This data is not merely numbers on a log; it's a story of the well's integrity, revealing areas of potential concern that can be proactively addressed to prevent non-productive time and ensure operational safety. By leveraging the combined strengths of CBL and VDL, InWaTec Combined provides clients with a robust assessment of their cementation quality. The detailed logs produced not only satisfy regulatory requirements but empower operators with actionable insights to optimize their well construction and maintenance strategies. Choose InWaTec Combined's CBL-VDL Services for your cement bond evaluation needs and gain peace of mind with our thorough, reliable, and cutting-edge acoustic logging solutions. Ambient 4-1/2 inch SSSV

Storm Choke® K safety valves are ambient-type, wireline retrievable valves with the largest flow area of all direct controlled safety valves on the market. They are ideally suited for high-volume, low-pressure wells. These valves are normally closed and pre-charged with a set dome pressure. When the well flowing pressure drops below the predetermined dome-pressure charge because of a rupture in flowline or surface equipment, the dome pressure and main valve spring close the valve, shutting in the well below the earth’s surface. This valve contains a detent mechanism to provide a positive snap-action closure at the predetermined disaster rate of the valve. Its bore is not restricted by a flow bean. The valve is designed to resist pressure surges. A metal-to-metal poppet valve and seat comprise the valve’s primary closure mechanism. The K valve is ideal for protecting wells with declining bottomhole pressure. This valve closes in situations where a pressure decline would not activate a valve with a flow bean. To reopen the valve, the operator must fully equalize pressure either by applying pressure in the tubing from the surface or by an equalizing prong. The valve will reopen when the tubing pressure acting on the internal piston area overcomes the dome charge. Applications » Wells with declining bottomhole pressure » High-volume, low-pressure wells » Wells with no provisions for surface-controlled valves Features » Poppet closure » Large ports with capacity for high-volume wells » Designed to resist pressure surges *description excerpted from manufacturers catalogue. Depthstar SCSSSV 4.5 inch

The DepthStar® tubing-retrievable safety valve (TRSV) is a revolutionary concept in the realm of surface controlled subsurface safety valves. Unlike other TRSVs, the DepthStar valve functions completely independent of well pressure; therefore, it is able to operate at consistently low hydraulic pressures, making it an ideal solution for deepwater completions. Previously, solutions to wellbore isolation of the piston required additional seals and/or gas-charged chambers where their reliability is heavily dependent on elastomeric seals and the permanent, long-term containment of a dome charge. The DepthStar valve, through the use of a revolutionary magnetic coupler, allows for positioning the hydraulic actuator completely out of the tubing wellbore. By repositioning the hydraulic actuator outside the tubing wellbore, the DepthStar valve becomes the world’s first 100% metal-to-metal (MTM) safety valve that contains no moving seals within the tubing wellbore. This reduction in seals combined with an intrinsically simple design makes the DepthStar TRSV inherently reliable. The DepthStar TRSV operates with a low operating pressure, making it an ideal solution for deep-set applications. Features » No moving seals exposed to the tubing wellbore » 100% MTM sealing within the tubing wellbore » Less than 5,000-psi maximum valve opening capability regardless of setting depth or pressure » Minimized number of body connections » Proven MTM, non-elastomer hydraulic actuator » Isolated flow tube *information referenced from supplier catalog. 7" Mech-2 Double Grip Mechanical Set Packer for 32-35 PPF Casing

Ballycatter Mech-2 Double Grip Mechanical Packer

Available sizes: 5”, 5 1/2”, 6 5/8”, 7”, 9 5/8”, and 10 3/4”

The Ballycatter Mech-2 is a retrievable, compression-set double-grip mechanical packer designed for applications where pressure differentials from below are anticipated, such as combined stimulation and production operations. Featuring opposing slips above and below the packing element, the Mech-2 ensures secure bi-directional anchoring within the casing under varying well conditions.

The tool incorporates a built-in hydraulic hold-down system located beneath the face-seal bypass valve, enabling it to resist upward forces during stimulation treatments. A unique “Differential Lock” mechanism utilizes pressure from below the packer to actuate a balance sleeve, generating additional downward force that maintains bypass valve integrity and ensures a reliable seal.

The Mech-2 is mechanically set using a long-stroke mandrel and a J-slot mechanism. Once positioned, right-hand rotation and applied set-down weight close the bypass valve, engage both slip sets, and compress the sealing elements. The formation below the packer is then fully isolated and accessible only through the tubing. To retrieve, the tubing is raised the full packer length, automatically re-engaging the J-slot and reopening the bypass for pressure equalization and circulation.

With its dual-grip design, hydraulic hold-down, and controlled setting and release process, the Mech-2 offers a robust and dependable solution for demanding applications requiring secure annular isolation and enhanced downhole stability.

Inverter and Charger Combination

Multifunctional, with intelligent power management The MultiPlus is a powerful true sine wave inverter, a sophisticated battery charger that features adaptive charge technology, and a high-speed AC transfer switch in a single compact enclosure. Next to these primary functions, the MultiPlus has several advanced features, as outlined below. Two AC Outputs The main output has no-break functionality. The MultiPlus takes over the supply to the connected loads in the event of a grid failure or when shore-/generator power is disconnected. This happens so fast (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic equipment will continue to operate without disruption. The second output is live only when AC is available on the input of the MultiPlus. Loads that should not discharge the battery, like a water heater for example, can be connected to this output (second output available on models rated at 3kVA and more). Virtually unlimited power thanks to parallel operation Up to six Multis can operate in parallel to achieve higher power output. Six 24/3000/70 units, for example, provide 15kW / 18kVA output power with 420 Amps of charging capacity. Three phase capability In addition to parallel connection, three units can be configured for three-phase output. But that’s not all: with three strings of six parallel units a 45 kW / 54 kVA three phase inverter and 1260 A charger can be built. Split phase options Two units can be stacked to provide 120-0-120 V, and additional units can be paralleled up to a total of 6 units per phase, to supply up to 30 kW / 36 kVA of split phase power. Alternatively, a split phase AC source can be obtained by connecting our autotransformer (see data sheet on www.victronenergy.com) to a ‘European’ inverter programmed to supply 240 V / 60 Hz. PowerControl - Dealing with limited generator, shore side or grid power The MultiPlus is a very powerful battery charger. It will therefore draw a lot of current from the generator or shore side supply (nearly 20 A per 3 kVA MultiPlus at 120 VAC). With the Multi Control Panel a maximum generator or shore current can be set. The MultiPlus will then take account of other AC loads and use whatever is extra for charging, thus preventing the generator or shore supply from being overloaded. PowerAssist - Boosting the capacity of shore or generator power This feature takes the principle of PowerControl to a further dimension. It allows the MultiPlus to supplement the capacity of the alternative source. Where peak power is so often required only for a limited period, the MultiPlus will make sure that insufficient shore or generator power is immediately compensated for by power from the battery. When the load reduces, the spare power is used to recharge the battery. Four stage adaptive charger and dual bank battery charging The main output provides a powerful charge to the battery system by means of advanced ‘adaptive charge’ software. The software fine-tunes the three stage automatic process to suit the condition of the battery, and adds a fourth stage for long periods of float charging. The adaptive charge process is described in more detail on the Phoenix Charger datasheet and on our website, under Technical Information. In addition to this, the MultiPlus will charge a second battery using an independent trickle charge output intended for a main engine or generator starter battery. System configuring has never been easier After installation, the MultiPlus is ready to go. If settings have to be changed, this can be done in a matter of minutes with a DIP switch setting procedure. Even parallel and 3-phase operation can be programmed with DIP switches: no computer needed! Alternatively, VE.Net can be used instead of the DIP switches. And sophisticated software (VE.Bus Quick Configure and VE.Bus System Configurator) is available to configure several new, advanced, features. *information from manufacturer catalogue View Details

SP TR Surface Controlled Subsurface Safety Valve 6-5/8 inch

The SP™ tubing-retrievable safety valve (TRSV) is a single rod-piston non-elastomer flapper valve designed for hostile environments and extended life applications where ultimate reliability is required. Potential leak paths within the valve are minimized with the single rod-piston design. The piston achieves a metal-to-metal (MTM) seal at its uppermost and lowermost positions to seal well pressure from the control system. The SP valves incorporate flappers using spherical radius sealing surfaces that help greatly improve seal reliability. The spherical radius design provides full MTM sealing integrity. For applications where either the OD or ID is restrained, SP valves incorporate a contoured flapper. OD/ID relationships are improved by the contoured flapper design, which helps provide superior MTM sealing when compared to other forms of curved flapper technology. Applications » For applications requiring ultimate reliability and longevity, such as high-temperature/high-pressure, and subsea completions, or hostile well environments Features » Non-elastomer dynamic piston seals » MTM static seal at upper and lower piston positions » MTM body joints » Flow tube fluted guide » 100% MTM flapper » Concentric thrust bearing » Wiper ring on upper flow tube » Cleanout ports in flow tube’s upper end » Internal exercise profile » Flow tube shock absorber » MTM face seat at flow tube downstop » Setting depths to 9,000 ft (2743 m) » Critical components isolated from well debris with valve in open position » Area above flow tube free of solids buildup » Flow tube can be manipulated by slickline » Protected from high flow rate slam closures *information referenced from supplier catalog. FXE 2-7/8 inch Wireline Retrievable Surface Controlled Subsurface Safety Valve

The FXE wireline-retrievable flapper valve, which is normally closed, is held open by hydraulic control pressure from the surface. The valve operates on a hydraulic piston principle. To open, hydraulic pressure slightly higher than the well pressure is applied to move the piston downward. This pressure unseats the secondary seat, allowing pressure to enter through equalizing ports. Then, as additional hydraulic pressure is applied to the piston, it continues downward movement, pushing the flapper open. The flapper hinge assembly is designed such that the force on the piston is not applied directly on the hinge pin. Upon loss of hydraulic pressure in the control line, the valve’s large spring serves to lift the hydrostatic head of the control fluid. The flapper spring is designed to close the valve when the piston moves up past the flapper. Opening Prong Nose Seal The FXE valve uses the valve housing as the downstop for the opening prong. This metal-to-metal (MTM) interface is designed to prevent flow from passing between the valve housing and the opening prong. The MTM interface isolates the flapper and seat from fluid flow while the valve is open. This design creates an MTM interface with the full force exerted by the hydraulic piston, minus the spring compression force, holding the two metal faces in contact. Radius of Curvature at Flow Entrance Halliburton conducted a study with various curvatures on the entrance to the valve. The study tested abrasive fluids flowing through different test subs and examined the resulting wear patterns. As a result, an optimum radius of curvature was determined and implemented on the valve housings of all wireline-retrievable safety valves. Applications » General production completions Features » Equalizing-type flapper closure » Solid construction flapper made from bar stock » Spherical radius seat on flapper improves seal reliability » Sealing and seating surfaces are out of the well production flow path when valve is in the open position *information referenced from supplier catalog. ESP Dual Grip 7 inch Packer

The Ballycatter Model WC-ESP Dual Grip 7” Packer is a hydraulic-set, dual-grip production packer designed for electric submersible pump (ESP) completions in 7” casing. Engineered for high-load applications, it incorporates bi-directional barrel slips that securely anchor the packer against both upward and downward forces, ensuring reliable zonal isolation in high-pressure well environments.

The pass-through section allows seamless integration of ESP power cables, maintaining an uninterrupted electrical connection to the pump below the packer. The single-piece mandrel construction and Acner Array Packing Element enhance durability and resistance to extreme temperatures and corrosive fluids. Additionally, the packer includes NPT chemical injection ports and a vent valve port, facilitating chemical treatments and pressure equalization.

The hydraulic setting mechanism is activated by applying tubing pressure against a plugging device, mechanically locking the packer in place for long-term sealing integrity. The dual-grip anchoring system provides increased stability, making it ideal for high-flow rate production and injection wells. The packer can be retrieved using straight pull release, ensuring efficient removal and minimal well disruption. Compatible with all major cable pack-off or feed-thru devices, the WC-ESP Dual Grip 7” Packer offers superior performance for ESP completions in demanding well conditions.

Hydraulic Set Large Bore Retrievable Production Packer

The HPL-1 Large Bore Hydraulic Set Retrievable Production Packer is a high-performance isolation toolactivated using tubing pressure, eliminating the need for mechanical manipulation. When pressure is applied against an underneath plugging device, the hydraulic setting mechanism engages, compressing the multiple packing element system to create a secure seal between the tubing and casing. Designed for versatility, the HPL-1 is available in 7” and 9 5/8” large bore options, making it ideal for high-volume production and injection applications. This design allows the packer to be set at any depth, making it particularly effective in low hydrostatic head wells while ensuring well integrity after the tubing is in place, even in large-diameter casing environments.

Once set, the double-grip system secures the packer in position using hydraulic hold-down pistons and a body lock ring, preventing unwanted movement due to pressure fluctuations or tubing expansion. Themechanically locked setting force ensures that reductions in bottom-hole pressure or tubing contraction do not weaken the seal, providing long-term reliability in production, injection, and zonal isolation applications. With the 7” and 9 5/8” options, the HP-1 is well-suited for high-flow rate completions, offering exceptional sealing performance and operational efficiency in larger casing sizes.

To retrieve the packer, operators can apply a straight upward pull, or, if equipped with the optional right-hand rotational release, use torque combined with a shear release mechanism. This flexibility allows for efficient removal in both standard and deviated wells, making the HP-1 packer a versatile, high-capacity solution for a wide range of completion designs, including large-bore well systems requiring robust isolation and retrieval capabilities.

9 5/8" Mech-2 Double Grip Mechanical Set Packer for 36-43.5 PPF Casing
