Detailed Description

Spooling units designed to ensure cables or control lines are kept in tension while running in or out of hole. Our spooling units are fully designed, manufactured and assembled with sheaves (half or full moon) to guide control, injection, or mono-conductor cable preventing damage while being tripped in hole. Units are available in pneumatic, hydraulic, or electric drive and are ATEX zone and DNV certified as required by location. Spooling units can also be equipped with a filling pump to monitor pressure while tripping – improving efficiency as a sudden pressure drop indicates line damage.
