Detailed Description

The HDI 2000P Pressure Gauge System is a solid-state electronic gauge designed to provide accurate and reliable pressure measurement in demanding industrial and oilfield environments. It is suitable for monitoring pressures up to 20,000 psi and is built to operate safely in hazardous locations.

The system includes a gauge display, inline cable, and a matched pressure sensor. The gauge features a 6-inch diameter LCD with a numeric display and a 101-segment analog bar graph for trend indication. The display is visible from up to 35 feet and is designed for use in varying lighting conditions.

Powered by a field-replaceable 3.6 V battery pack, the system supports continuous operation with minimal power consumption. Battery life is typically around 18 months, with a one-year guarantee. Calibration data is retained when powered off.

The pressure sensor uses a 3.5K strain gauge and is available in multiple pressure ranges. Sensors can be interchanged within specified ranges to reduce spare parts inventory. Connection types include 1” NPT, 2” line thread, ANSI or API flanges, 9/16” Autoclave, and 2” WECO.

Optional outputs include 4-20 mA and 0-1 Vdc signals for integration with chart recorders, PLCs, and remote displays. A remote display (slave gauge) option allows duplication of the pressure reading at another location.

The gauge and sensor are factory calibrated as a matched pair to ±0.50% full-scale accuracy. Calibration and configuration settings are stored in non-volatile memory and can be updated or reset by the user.
